Aleksandar Todorović is a non-media specific artist, a freelance graphic designer, and a restless traveller for the past decade.
After studying graphic design in Düsseldorf, he graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2009, with a focus on typography and a love for bold statements. Aleksandar's artistic practice is deeply rooted in his experience as an immigrant. In it, he explores the cultural tensions and shifts in an ever-evolving Europe and their interaction with his own multinational identity and with other nations he embraces.
Aleksandar recently designed this website for WHY NOT? KOLLEKTIV. He has launched numerous art projects and exhibitions and will continue to participate in the KOLLEKTIV‘s hybrid mediation project “MONSTERA Landscapes of Remembrance for Reeducation — Good Citizenship in Yesterday and Today”.
