The transnational Kollektiv Why Not? has been dedicated since its founding in the summer of 2018 to central issues and questions relating to the visibility and representation of non-European and diasporic as well as East European (post)socialist narratives in culture and media.

Through the disciplines of dance, composition, media art, music, mediation and culture of remembrance, diverse interventions, projects and research emerge, hybrid or analogue, for multiple perspectives on a complex, global present.
