Universal Rotation
With WHY NOT? UNIVERSAL ROTATION we plan a new conception for a performance around the disciplines of dance, composition/sound design and media art with a focus on choreography.
To this end, we are artistically exploring traditional and contemporary non-western dance techniques, with a strong focus on rotation dance, in conjunction with contemporary dance.
We intend to study specific dance techniques and backgrounds more deeply, to professionalize our expertise and positioning in the genre of dance (performance), and to give more visibility and space to underrepresented contemporary dance forms, from a diasporic perspective.
